Enrolment, Withdrawals and Fees

ENROLMENT

  1. All persons wishing to study with Xperts must fill in an application form and submit this to Xperts.
  2. Each applicant must electronically confirm his/her understanding and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Enrolment.
  3. When Xperts receives an enrolment application a person may be offered a place on the course. This offer is confirmed upon:
    • Issue of a receipt for payment of fees in full; and
    • A place being available at the time that a receipt is issued for payment of fees.
  4. Xperts reserves the right to decline any enrolment.
  5. A person may enrol through an agent (for example as part of a workplace group enrolment). In that situation Xperts must receive written confirmation from the agent that each person agrees to the enrolment.
  6. In special circumstances Xperts may allow a deferment of a confirmed place to a later course. Applications for deferment must be made to the Managing Director in writing. If a deferment is granted, no subsequent refunds are possible.
  7. Once a course has started, the transfer of fees between courses is not permitted.
  8. Late applications may be accepted at the discretion of the Managing Director of Xperts. Their decision will be final and binding.
  9. Requests for withdrawal from a course must be made in writing.
  10. If a request for withdrawal is received up to 7 days before the published course start date, a full refund of fees will be made.
  11. If a request for withdrawal from a course is made up to 3 days after the published course start date, Xperts will refund fees, less an administration fee.
  12. No refunds will be given for withdrawal from a course after 3 calendar days of the published course start date.
  13. In special circumstances Xperts may approve a refund on compassionate grounds.
  14. Acceptance of enrolment by Xperts grants access to its course website, the tutor and on-line communication tools.
  15. When using Xperts website all participants are required to use courteous and appropriate language.
  16. If a participant fails to comply, Xperts may, at their discretion, cancel his/her enrolment. If part of a workplace enrolment the agent will be notified of that cancellation. If an enrolment is cancelled enrolment fees will be forfeited.
  17. When the published course completion date is reached the course is completed and all access privileges expire.
  18. Some courses may require participants to complete, and return to their tutor, an assessment.
  19. In those circumstances successful completion of an assessment

FEES

  1. Fees may differ from course to course.
  2. Fee payments will be accepted only via cheque or electronic payment direct to Xperts bank account.
  3. No credit will be extended.
  4. Fees must be paid in full before participation in a course is permitted.
  5. All fees are receipted.
  6. Withdrawals and refunds will be as handled as in Xperts stated enrolment policy.
  7. Fee refunds will be processed and dispatched within a maximum of 10 working days.

CURRENCY

All transactions are in New Zealand Dollar. The exchange rate at the time of processing will apply.
