Xperts purpose in gathering personal information

Xperts gathers from you the personal information that is needed to carry out administrative and tutoring functions and allow us to fulfil our legal obligations.

What information does Xperts collect?

Here are the types of information we gather:

Information you give us
We receive and store any enrolment information you enter on our web site or give us in any other way, such as by telephone or by electronic mail. For example your name, mailing address, phone number and email address.

If you are enrolling in a course that requires payment, and you opt to pay by credit card we will collect certain financial information from you. Namely we will ask for a credit card number, the credit card details and billing address before we can process your application. If you prefer not to enter your credit card details via our secure page, simply select the invoice/direct payment option.

Information gathered during courses
This includes information such as assessment results, course participation and completion records.

Does Xperts share the information it receives?

We keep all your personal information secure and do not disclose that to any external body or person unless required by law to do so.

We do share your name and email address with your course tutor so they can best carry out their professional duties and provide support services for course members.

Electronic mail

From time to time, Xperts may use your personal information to contact you by electronic mail concerning use of our services. These communications will be either (a) intended to inform you of important information regarding the course you are enrolled in or (b) they might be about general services provided by Xperts.

You may remove yourself from a general mailing list at any time by using the unsubscribe link contained within those emails.

You will however, continue to receive specific course related information.

How secure is your information?

• Your enrolment information is only accessible by Xperts management or the course administrator.
• Xperts does not hold your credit card details. These are received and processed by Westpac. Your credit card payment is made via a secure link using a WIPS Plus gateway, which means your credit card information is encrypted during transmission.
• If you do not wish to pay by credit card, you can choose the invoice/direct payment option.
• You can help to ensure your security by taking a few simple precautions. For instance, it is very important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your login username and password. Be sure to log off when finished using a shared computer.
• You may check and correct the accuracy of your personal details at any time by contacting our office.
